Easter can be a great time of celebration, especially whenever you fill the time with family activities, crafts, cooking, and other ideas, such as:
Have your children create Easter cards for friends and family members that live too far away to visit this holiday season. All you need is some sturdy, colorful paper that is cut to the size of a card. Your child can cut out or make various shapes, such as eggs or baby chics, from other colors of sturdy paper or pieces of fabric to decorate the card with. Make Easter bunny ears to wear. For this activity you will need some sturdy paper and glue. Cut out some bunny ears then cut smaller ears out of either pink or blue to glue inside of the larger ears. These can then be stapled to a headband that fits around your child's head (usually this should be around 7cm in length). Spend some time in the kitchen cooking up some simple Easter recipes with your kids. There are a lot of simple, kid-friendly Easter recipes that are available. Children will love mixing flour, kneading and rolling dough or simply cutting pre-packaged biscuits with cookie cutters to make Easter shapes. Your friends and relatives will then love to eat the cute snacks that your children have made. Get together as a family and dye some Easter eggs. You do not have to purchase Easter egg kits for dying your eggs. Instead, why not make a recipe that you find online? Your children will love to mix the ingredients before using them to decorate the eggs. This will keep the family busy having lots of fun. Enjoy some great Easter games together as a family. Why not have your own family's Easter egg hunt in your own backyard? Of course, you can also change ordinary games into Easter games as well. For instance, you can play Easter Bunny tag or Easter bowling. It just takes a touch of imagination to have a ton of fun playing Easter games together as a family. So, do not be afraid to think out of the box here.
